Approx. 2 weeks ago I was actually looking for a leather riding jacket and chaps. Was prepairing for a cross country trip from Trimble to Abilene Texas, my wife's father was passing away. He passed away Oct. 1st. I came to this store since it was on my way home, they had very little leather selection. This sales lady talked me into this new age material that was also water proof, then this salesman took over for her. The pants were snug around the waist when tried them on, but figured they would work. At the register the salesman only told me I had 30 days, keep the suit clean, and keep the tags for each pants and jacket, and if not satisfied to bring them back. If you go to a shoe store you don't buy unless you put them on and walk in them to see if you like them or not. If not they just put them back on the shelf. I was excited to have a riding suit that seemed rugged enough for such a trip, NOW AS PART OF TRYING OUR A RIDING SUIT IT SEEMED PART OF IT WOULD BE TO SEE HOW COMFORTABLE WHEN ACTUALLY RIDING THE BIKE!! This is where I found the problem with the suit, when on the bike the pants instead of being snug, they were tight and when taking off from a start on my 2012 Harley classic had a problem getting my boots up on the floorboards and found them to be hazardous, but was with struggle I was able to reach the floorboards. Rode to work one morning and after some serious thought I decided to take them back. The management and sales staff evidently are not on board with when selling a product the criteria required for a return, nothing was mentioned to me except keep the suit clean, and the tags for each article of my clothing.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Very strict return policy. Very unprofessional and rude. Bought pair of gloves and tried using on my motorcycle once. Wanted to exchange for a different and more expensive pair and was told no way. Product was in new condition with tags intact. How are you to know how gear fits or feels without using. It's like buying shoes and not being able to walk in them. Manager told me I should have read their return policy before buying after I voiced my dissatisfaction. This business does not care about customer satisfaction and manager acts more like 13 y/o teenager when trying to communicate with customers. There are to many other businesses around that want your business and your treatment will be easily better since they set the bar so low with customer satisfaction. Skip this place when buying online or local.

Does not deserve a star!!! but can't post without, I assume! Please read complete review, important items are stated on your receipt about returns, but not verbally explained by sales staff. I grabbed my receipt and was excited to go home and ride, are there anyone else out there like me?

I really want to like this place, but my experience has not been great. Bought a pair of Alpine Stars gloves, and they started coming apart at the seams after about a month. Went in to have them replaced, they said to contact the manufacturer. Did that twice with no response, went back, they gave me contact info for their Alpine Stars representative, Ryan. Reached out to him, about a month ago, and nothing. I'm definitely not buying Alpine Stars again, and the only reason I'm not giving a one star review is because the people at Closeouts are super friendly, and knowledgeable, but my experience has been overshadowed by a busted pair of gloves.

My primary gear source. I think I have two pieces of gear, total, in my collection that wasn't from them. Never had a problem. I also got a good laugh at some of the morons leaving bad reviews because they don't know how to size gear. The retailer doesn't make your head, after all.

When I went in and told the salesman I wanted to return the suit over $300.00 some dollars, first thing he asked "DID I RIDE WITH THE SUIT ON"? Sometimes I wonder about telling the truth the way I was raised!!

These guys were super friendly. Good variety of riding gear and helmets.

Here you LIE THROUGH YOUR TEETH! NO DIDN'T RIDE IN THEM! Staff needs to make clear about RETURN CONDITIONS! Won't ever see me back in this store!! EVER!! Going to go buy a good ole set of leathers, these places want you to ride in them, how are you going to know. I guess if this place sold cars, you could sit in it, but don't test drive it. No wonder they don't want you to return items, is they have to much stock, and not enough customers, and dwindling.
